Richard Leggett, Chief Executive Officer
Richard has been CEO of Frontier Strategy Group since 2012. He is a recognized business leader with more than 20 years of global information and financial services experience. Prior to joining FSG, he served as Chairman and CEO of Business Intelligence Advisors (BIA), an independent investment research, advisory, and analytics firm. Before BIA, Richard ran the ISS Business Unit at RiskMetrics Group, a business specializing in corporate governance research, data, and analytical solutions. Richard joined RiskMetrics following its acquisition of the Center for Financial Research and Analysis (CFRA), a leading independent investment research and analytics firm, where he was President and CEO. Earlier in his career, Richard served as a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs in New York and London in both the equity research and investment banking divisions. He started his career with the Financial Services practice at Accenture in Washington, D.C. He currently serves on the Board of AlphaSense, a privately held financial analytics company, and is a member of the Executive Committee of K-Street Capital, a Washington, D.C. angel investor network. Richard holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Georgetown University.
Joel Whitaker, Senior Vice President, Global Head of Research
Joel leads the firm’s global research team. He is responsible for research strategy, product innovation, thought leadership, and advising FSG’s most senior client executives. Prior to joining FSG, Joel served as Head of Asia-Pacific Research for Corporate Executive Board (CEB), based in Singapore. In that role, he advised C-level executives across Asia on capturing growth opportunities in China, India, and Southeast Asia, as well as on talent management, compliance, and sales force effectiveness in Asian emerging markets. Previously, Joel led CEB’s global research programs for CIOs, heads of R&D, and heads of strategy and corporate development. Outside the private sector, Joel launched the Center of Innovation for Science, Technology, and Peacebuilding at the U.S. Institute of Peace, and he currently serves on the advisory board of TechChange. Joel holds a B.A. in Economics and Politics from Oberlin College.
Neeraj Vohra, Chief Financial Officer
Neeraj Vohra is a seasoned finance executive and serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Frontier Strategy Group. Prior to joining FSG in 2016, he was the CFO of Rate Reset, a disruptive financial technology company that enables borrowers to reset terms of their mortgage and other loans digitally. Previously, Neeraj spent well over a decade leading investment banking teams in the FinTech and Tech Services sectors at both FBR Capital Markets and Signal Hill. He has managed approximately 50 initial public offerings (IPOs), follow-on offerings, private equity raises, and strategic mergers and acquisitions for clients, including global brands PayPal and comScore. Neeraj helped found, and is currently an active steering committee member of the Greater Washington CFO Network. In addition, he is an active board member of Pratham, an internationally recognized Indian charity working to eradicate illiteracy in India, as well as Eleat, a privately held food-tech company. He and his wife are co-owners of two locations of Elevation Burger in Northern Virginia. Mr. Vohra holds an M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a B.B.A. in Economics from Baruch College, CUNY.
David Benedetto, Senior Vice President, Global Head of Commercial
David is Senior Vice President, Global Head of Commercial at Frontier Strategy Group, responsible for leading FSG’s international sales team and managing its global client base. David has more than 20 years of B2B sales experience delivering consulting, subscription, event sponsorship, and thought leadership solutions to multinational corporations, associations, government agencies, and universities. Prior to joining FSG, David held executive sales leadership positions at BMI Research (a Fitch Group company), Oxford Economics, The Financial Times, and The Economist Intelligence Unit, where he led the sales strategy and managed its execution. David holds a B.S. in marketing from the University of Southern New Hampshire and is based in New York.
Jolene Carter-King, Senior Vice President, Head of Global Consulting Solutions
Jolene is Senior Vice President at FSG, responsible for leading and growing the firm’s global consulting practice. In this capacity, Jolene leads a team that develops and delivers innovative solutions to help senior leaders achieve superior outcomes in emerging markets. Jolene has more than 20 years of experience in global strategy, transformation and innovation across the information, technology and business services industries. Prior to FSG, Jolene held several leadership roles at Corporate Executive Board (CEB), a best practice insight and technology company, including Managing Director of Global Strategy and New Product Development and Chief of Staff to the Chairman and CEO during a time of significant firm transformation. Before CEB, Jolene was a management consultant in IBM Global Services strategy & change practice. Jolene holds a B.S. in Business Administration and International Affairs from the University of Mary Washington and an M.B.A. from University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School, where she was the Robert Gilliam & Katherine Wilcox Kittrell Fellow.
Jonathan Rubin, Senior Vice President, Operations and Strategy
Jonathan is the Senior Vice President Head of Global Operations and Strategy at Frontier Strategy Group. In this role, he is responsible for all commercial, research, and custom division operations, global marketing, and product development for FSG’s FrontierView© Platform. Prior to this role, Jonathan held different positions at FSG including managing the global sales team and launching an SMB sales team. Before FSG, he worked for the Washington Wizards (Washington D.C. Professional Basketball team) where he was an Account Executive selling corporate and group ticket packages. Jonathan has a B.S. in Management from the University of Massachusetts and is based out of Washington, D.C
