ALEC LEE, Practice Leader, Latin America Research
Alec is a Practice Leader for Latin America Research at Frontier Strategy Group. His work focuses on providing support to business leaders in strategic business execution and the management of operational risks. Alec also contributes extensive analysis on economic and political developments affecting multinationals in Brazil and the Caribbean. Alec completed his Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Spanish at Oklahoma State University, spending significant time studying in both Argentina and Chile. He also attended the University of São Paulo where he completed a Master’s in International Relations with a concentration in International Political Economy. Alec previously held a position in the economic and political section of the U.S. Department of State in Rio de Janeiro. Alec is fluent in Portuguese.
RAMIRO SUGRANES, Analyst, Latin America Research
Ramiro is an Analyst for Latin America research focused on the Andean and Caribbean regions at Frontier Strategy Group. Ramiro holds a master’s degree in international economics and finance from Johns Hopkins University SAIS and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has spent over 12 years residing in Latin America and the Caribbean and has carried out extensive economic and financial research in the region throughout his former research roles. Ramiro is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
