ANTONIO MARTINEZ, Director, Global Economics

Antonio is responsible for FSG’s global economics research and integrated monthly forecast revision process. His work focuses on identifying macroeconomic and geopolitical shifts across a wide portfolio of international markets, and extrapolating cross-regional implications for multinational corporations. Antonio regularly presents at senior-level executive events and workshops on topics related to his research. Based in New York, Antonio holds a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania, and a M.A. in International Relations and Economics from Johns Hopkins University-SAIS. Antonio is fluent in Spanish.

JOEL WHITAKER, SVP, Global Head of Research

Joel leads the firm’s global research team. He is responsible for research strategy, product innovation, thought leadership, and advising FSG’s most senior client executives. Prior to joining FSG, Joel served as Head of Asia-Pacific Research for Corporate Executive Board (CEB), based in Singapore. In that role, he advised C-level executives across Asia on capturing growth opportunities in China, India, and Southeast Asia, as well as on talent management, compliance, and sales force effectiveness in Asian emerging markets.  Joel holds a B.A. in Economics and Politics from Oberlin College.
