“China announced its 2016 targets and priorities during the annual NPC session. While the government seeks to achieve a balanced growth between economic rebalancing and market stability, this will be a very difficult task to accomplish. FSG thinks China will most likely achieve its GDP expansion goal for 2016, but keeping a targeted growth floor of 6.5% will be impossible for the next five years.”
